Granville gives its homes elegant French names — Chateau, Grande, Maisonette, Maison. Beautiful, but if you're shopping for property in the New Administrative Capital you probably think in the usual terms: standalone, twinhouse, townhouse. Here's the simple translation, so you know exactly what each one is.

Chateau — the Standalone Palace

The Chateau is Granville's flagship: a palace-class standalone villa, fully detached with private grounds on every side, and the largest homes in the community (up to around 950 m²). It's for buyers who want the grandest footprint, maximum privacy, and a true statement residence.

Grande — the Standalone Villa

The Grande is the classic standalone villa — detached, on its own plot — sized for generous family living, roughly 399 to 734 m². Multiple bedrooms, expansive terraces, and private gardens, with the full independence of a standalone but a touch more practical in scale than the Chateau.

Maisonette — the Twinhouse

The Maisonette is a twinhouse: two homes sharing a single common wall, each with its own entrance, garden and identity. At about 311 to 340 m² across three floors — four bedrooms, a private rooftop, and direct garden access — it's the elegant gateway into Granville: standalone-style living at a more accessible point.

Maison — the Townhouse

The Maison is the townhouse — the most intimate footprint, in corner and middle layouts within a refined row. It suits buyers who want a manageable, lock-up-and-go home inside the same gated, landscaped estate, without the upkeep of a larger plot.

Which one is right for you?

A quick rule of thumb: choose the Chateau for a palace-scale standalone, the Grande for a classic detached family villa, the Maisonette twinhouse for standalone-style living at a friendlier size, and the Maison townhouse for an intimate, low-maintenance home. Every one is fully finished and sits inside the same community — so the choice is really about space, privacy, and budget, not compromise on quality.
